Summer wine

R osé wine is produced with red grapes and the winemaking techniques is the same as white grapes.

We leave the red grapes to macerate with its juice for a short period of time in a vat, after which the lightly coloured juice is bled off to be finished into a rosé wine. The bleeding off of some of the juice not only produces a lovely rosé, but it also concentrates the red wines’ intensity.

This production is not the main one for us, this is not a Vouvray appellation but a Touraine. Grape variety is normally not used on Vouvray plot, we are authorized to use Touraine appellation because of the winemaking process. Each appellation has its own specifications.

We recommend consuming it under 18 months of vintage, custody is less important than Vouvray.
